At NBS and Workstage, sustainable building design is more than an option, it is the foundation of our practice because we know it is the best we can offer our clients and the earth. As a part of Workstage's core value system, construction processes and materials against our strict guidelines for quality, sustainability and environmentally friendliness. Workstage's unique base building combination of underfloor air distribution, daylighting, sensor-controlled lighting, and other green building components help to qualify Workstage projects for LEED® points.

Workstage is an active member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) as well as a regional chapter member and charter sponsor. Workstage has LEED® Accredited Professionals to provide guidance and direction through the development, design and construction process. Workstage offers the latest technology and expertise in assisting clients to achieve LEED® Certification, enhance operating efficiencies, and reduce overall costs.

The Workstage goal of sustainable design is to build and maintain the facility with minimal impact on the environment. "Green" buildings are high-quality facilities that typically can be cost neutral to conventional facilities because they last longer and cost less to operate and maintain.
